Project description

The Castro Verde/Almodôvar subsection, with a length of about 21 km, is part of the two last concluded sections of the A 2 Highway, namely between Castro Verde and the Via Longitudinal do Algarve (VLA). The conclusion of these sections allowed a faster, more comfortable and safer connection for the users travelling from North and Center Portugal to the extreme South of the country, especially in Summer time.

A1V2 participation in this project consisted in Drainage and Signaling and Safety Equipments.
