Project description

Shaped like a Latin cross, the Religious Temple featured a predominantly south- north orientation. The main entrance was to the south and the access to the mortuary chapel and administrative area was located to the east. The plan was not to recreate the traditional type of architecture, but an architecture that showcased typically regional elements and materials (such as clay) and a proposal that was intimately connected to the landscape and culture.

A1V2 approach was to design this Temple with the surrounding context in mind, making it attractive for believers and visitors both.
