Project description
The feasibility study, base project and final design for the railway branches connecting the CIMENFORT cement factory to the Benguela line extended over a length of 2,2 km. The goal of this study was to define the layout geometry of this railway connection, including drainage and ancillary works.
This line was intended to improve the flow of cargo (raw materials and final products) associated to the new cement factory via railway, thus avoiding the limitations inherent to exclusive road circulation.
