Project description
A1V2 is involved in the rehabilitation project of Angola’s entire railway network, in a total length of approximately 2.700 km. Works began in 2007 and are scheduled to be completed in 2014.
Angola’s railway network is defined by three structural lines:
— Benguela Line – between Lobito and Luau, with a total length of 1.340km;
— Luanda Line- between Baia and Malange, with a total length of 445km;
— Moçâmedes Line – between Namibe and Menongue, with a total length of 860km.
A1V2 is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the project implementation. This service is complemented with the design review and technical assistance to the owner of the infrastructure.
