Project description

The development study of the Annakhil Avenue in Rabat was linked to the Transport and Traffic Master Plan (SDTC) of the Great Rabat-Salé-Temara, created in 2008 by the Moroccan Ministry of the Interior. The proposal sought to provide a solution to the most relevant aspects of urban planning; its main objective was to promote quality public pedestrian paths along the avenue and surrounding streets, at the same time as it reorganised traffic flow. A completely personalised design of urban equipments and the use of various paving materials and stereotomies enhanced the features of this major avenue.

A1V2’s attention to the specificity of each project was clearly demonstrated by the level of personalisation developed for the Annakhil Avenue, from the reformulation of roads to the design of new urban equipments.
