The XII Congress of Steel and Mixed Construction took place on November 21 and 22, at the Convent of São Francisco, Coimbra, Portugal.
This congress, promoted by CMM (the Portuguese Steelwork Association), brought together representatives of 46 companies and gather, approximately, 380 participants who, over two days, participated in 8 lectures given by experts of international reputation in the area of “Metallic Structures as a Response to Climate Change”. Besides the lectures, about 123 articles were presented, which presented the most recent innovations in the field of metallic and mixed constructions. Representing A1V2, were Inês Grilo and Ana Costa, Civil Engineers of the Department of Structures of A1V2.
